Our Journey

We’re a family from Colorado who, like many new parents, were thrown a curveball with our first baby—serious bottle aversion. We tried what felt like a thousand different bottles, but nothing worked. Then, in a moment equal parts funny and eye-opening, we noticed our daughter happily chewing on the soft, beak-shaped nose of her stuffed goose. That’s when it clicked.

Maybe it wasn’t just about the bottle—maybe it was about what her hands were feeling. Not cold plastic. Not slippery glass. But something soft, familiar, and cute.

That spark of inspiration led to the creation of Soozie—a plush, sensory-friendly koozie that wraps around bottles to make feeding time more comforting, more engaging, and way more adorable. Designed with love (and desperation!) to help our daughter, we quickly realized Soozie could help other families too.

As parents, we also care deeply about reducing plastic use and offering safer, more natural-feeling options for babies. Soozie adds a cozy layer of protection—especially for glass bottles—while turning feeding time into something a little more magical.
